It is a privilege to have your child in our community of learners this year. As the Elementary School, we are focused on STUDENT LEARNING through focus, inquiry and collaboration.

Within the classroom, this learning process works best when we, as teacher, parent and student, collaborate as a team, asking questions, staying focused on the learning process.  Your child is at the core of this student learning team.

After reading a book or piece of text, write about how the book is similar or different from your own life by using the questions below:

• How is this different from my life?
