This is the air conditioning unit I see everyday, sometimes they both spin sometimes only one spins.

No power for 24 hours, WHAT?…

One morning when I woke up in my room the alarm clock was off, and my air conditioning was not on. I wonder why? I tried to turn on my alarm clock but it would not open, and I tried to turn on my air conditioning it would not open too. I went downstairs. My mom was holding a fan I told my mom, “Why doesn’t my air conditioning, and the clock turn on?”

My mom said, “ There is no electricity”. I said,“ How many hours?” My mom said “24 hours”. I said “WHAT! for one day”. I was worried about my dad. I was worried because he can’t work because he needs to use his computer. He must be upset! and we have no school because its out of electricity too.

My sister went down stairs, She said, “My room light does not go on”. My mom said, “ There is no electricity for 24 hours”. She said, “WHAT”. My sister said, “I have a project to do”. I said, “I need to do some research”. My mom wrote each of us a note to our teachers.

Then we went out biking with my friends then when my sister and me came back home. I said, “ What are we going to eat for dinner?” My mom said, “ Nothing”. I said “nothing.” My mom said, “ Yes, nothing”. I went up stairs and slept. I stink on the bed. I stink on the bed because my shower is out of electricity . My breathe stinks to because the sink is out of electricity too.

When I woke up my clock was on my air conditioning was on, my shower is working and the sink was working so I could shower, brush my teeth, look at the time, and I won’t sweat any more. When I went downstairs my mom was cooking breakfast for us. We had our electricity back on track, and my family was happy again, my dad could work again, and my mom could cook breakfast, lunch , and dinner for us again.

What about you, did you have no electricity in you life?

Sharks of Fear

There teeth is as sharp as a nail.

Its tail is as strong as a metal shovel.

They swim as fast as a car.

Sharks are fierce .

They smell there predator and then brunch is served!

Russell’s Influences

Posted by: | November 21, 2008 | 3 Comments |

I am influenced by my friend, my sister, my mom, my dad, and my uncle. My friend Howard influences me sometimes negative or positive. Did you know that sometimes family’s can be negative?

Like my mom. She sometimes can be negative and my dad too. I wonder if you have a big or small sister. My big sister was sometimes negative. She is sometimes negative to me because she thinks I’m annoying.

I influence my friends, my sister, my mom, and my dad. But some there not all positive. I wonder if you influence anybody or your family or friends influences you.

At first I thought influence was a feeling or a thought.

…But now I think influence means a person that done a good thing or bad and the other person thought it was ok to do it or do it with the by that is doing a bad thing.

What does influence mean to you?

What does trustworthiness means to you?
What trustworthiness means to me; is not to lie, be a good person to others, tell the truth, and always keep your promises.

Sometimes I treat people really nice. When I came to ISB I saw a lot of people show trustworthiness to other people. I wonder if your school has trustworthiness?
